Tucows Selected by Inquent Technologies as Domain Name Registration Provider

(OTCBB: TCOW), a leading provider of wholesale domain name registrations to Internet service providers and web hosting companies, has formed a strategic alliance with InQuent Technologies Inc., a leading provider of wholesale hosting services to large Carriers and Service Providers worldwide. InQuent Technologies Inc. is majority-owned by SBC Communications Inc. of San Antonio, Texas.

InQuent’s carrier-class hosting platform will integrate Tucows OpenSRS domain name registration services for the .com, .net, .org, .biz, .info, .ca and other country code top-level domain namespaces. Tucows OpenSRS platform is a wholesale service and provides complete transparency to the reseller. Neither Tucows OpenSRS nor InQuent compete with resellers for their end-customers. By partnering with Tucows, InQuent has underlined its commitment to the wholesale model by choosing a registrar with the same business-to-business focus.
