Thorsten Einig Joins Tucows as OpenSRS’ Managing Director, Europe

TORONTO, Oct. 21 – Today Tucows Inc. (NYSE AMEX:TCX, TSX:TC) announced that Thorsten Einig has joined the company as Managing Director, Europe. Einig will be responsible for maintaining and developing existing customer relationships and fueling further European growth in OpenSRS, Tucows’ wholesale domain registrar and Internet services business.

Prior to joining OpenSRS, Einig spent eight years with 1&1 Internet in Germany where he headed up their domain business. He last held the position of Business Development Manager for 1&1 in North America in 2008. Most recently, Thorsten worked as Senior Product Manager at Leaseweb B.V. in the Netherlands.
