HURST, Texas – Aug. 20 – Handango, the world’s leading publisher of handheld and wireless software, today announced they have teamed with Tucows, a leading distributor of e-business services and applications on the Internet and a provider of wholesale domain name registrations worldwide, to offer customers a one-stop, online shop to purchase handheld software applications.

Tucows’ users now have quick, convenient access to thousands of software applications for their handheld devices by visiting the Handango and Tucows co-branded Web site www.handango.com/tucows. This will provide customers with a variety of software applications for wireless devices ranging from professional productivity programs to games.

Users can easily review product descriptions without leaving the co-branded site; simplifying the purchase process and saving users time and effort. Software applications available for download on the co-branded site cross all major platforms, including Palm OS(R), Pocket PC, RIM(TM), Windows CE and Symbian(TM) devices. “We are excited to be working with Handango to provide our users with a wider selection of handheld software,” said Graham Morris, Chief Operations Officer, Tucows.

“Handango’s close partnerships with more than 4,000 handheld software developers, and their strong e-commerce platform, proved they were a good choice to help power our handheld e-commerce efforts.”

“Partnering with Tucows’ handheld e-commerce division to expand their handheld software shopping experience is a tremendous opportunity,” said Laura Rippy, CEO, Handango. “Our goal is to provide Tucows’ users with a comprehensive handheld resource from a trusted name and offer a safe, secure shopping environment.”

In addition to the co-branded initiative with Tucows, Handango has recently announced new co-branded sites with MSN Mobile, Microsoft, Palm and AvantGo. This extends Handango’s reach to new handheld users while offering Handango’s extensive catalog of handheld software applications. According to Jason Wells, Vice President of Channel Partnerships, “The co-branded site with Tucows is our eleventh initiative this year.”

“It is an exciting and positive addition to Handango’s channel development, and offers our software partners the opportunity to reach new customers,” Wells continued.

Tucows Inc. recently announced that it has signed a definitive merger agreement with Infonautics, Inc. (OTC Bulletin Board: INFO), a provider of personalized information agents and Internet sites. The merger transaction, which is subject to shareholder and regulatory approvals, is expected to close during the third quarter of 2001.
