Creative Producer

Remote, Toronto, ON

Tucows (NASDAQ:TCX, TSX:TC) is possibly the biggest Internet company you’ve never heard of. We started as a simple shareware site in 1993 and have grown into a stable of businesses; mobile, internet and domains.

We embrace a people-first philosophy that is rooted in respect, trust, and flexibility. We believe that whatever works for our employees is what works best for us. It’s also why the majority of our roles are remote-first, meaning you can work from anywhere you can connect to the internet!

Today, close to a thousand people work in over 16 countries to help us make the Internet better. If this sounds exciting to you, join the herd!

This is a completely remote opportunity.

About the role

We are redefining what an in-house agency is and are looking for a Creative Producer to join the Herd. • Participating in brainstorming sessions with a multidisciplinary creative team.
  • Collaborating with various team members to help organize their work, creating schedules to help the creatives do what they do best.
  • From collaborative grooming sessions and brainstorms to project delivery, you help ensure all timelines and goals are met.
  • Finding opportunities to improve daily operations and productivity as it relates to processes.
  • Budgeting and contractor management for our video function, from payments, pre-prod management to licensing for music and stock imagery and footage when needed.

Education and Experience

  • 5 years+ of experience in Advertising Agency or Design Studio coordination, or equivalent experience.
  • Excellent sense of logistics and organization.
  • Excellent ability to prioritize and remain calm in all situations.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Understanding of video operations and Process Management.
  • A demonstrated ability to anticipate needs and get alignment from all parties.

A bit about you:

We > Me speaks to you and you are highly collaborative and organized. Is Communication is important for you. You enjoy facilitating discussion to improve the way we work with your peers in the agency and its partners. You love being creative and process oriented all at once.

Prioritizing projects and proactively connecting with partners comes easily. You know G Suite and Adobe Acrobat Pro like the back of your hand. Makers gotta make resonates with you. Scheduling and status meetings gets you inspired.
