Food File 1.0.2
Food File is a food database and calorie counter containing information on thousands of food products.

To search the database, type in the food you are looking for, and the software will display a list of matching foods. You can also refine the search by selecting one or more of the 24 food categories. Selecting a food displays the proportion of fat, protein and carbohydrate contained, as well as total calories and more detailed nutritional information. Also displayed are various food facts for people following diets that restrict certain kind of foods, such as low fat, low carbohydrate (Atkins / South Beach) or low sodium diets. The nutritional information was compiled by the U.S. Department of Agriculture, Nutrient Data Laboratory.
