Centrally manage all users in your corporation from one Administrative Console. Limit concurrent logins for specified users or groups on the network. See where all users are currently logged into. The program logs all logins and logouts, time restriction, scheduled time and denied access activity. It includes the ability to set the user to automatically logout, restart or shutdown after a specified amount of time being logged in. Set a specific time to logout, restart or shutdown. Send e-mail and text page notifications on all activity. Send remote file execution commands to one or multiple users. Remotely logout, restart or shutdown any logged in computer. Clients can see which computers they are logged into. Clients can remotely logout, restart or shutdown any computer they are logged into (configurable). New version adds a database with a web console! Visit www.sonarware.com for complete details, updates, etc.

I wanted to review the company itself. I am amazed that they are so quick to respond to my questions via email. When we were testing the trial I emailed them and asked if a specific feature was available. They told me the feature I was asking about was not available but were willing to add the feature I requested. It blew my mind when less than 24 hours later they released the update that contained the feature I wanted.

Just downloaded the trial last week. got everything setup it works just like it said. was kind of funny to hear some of the phone calls of people who couldn't login to more than 1 machine at the same time anymore.

This software has definitely helped us manage logins throughout our company. We have a little over 2,400 users, and have used DFS to work hand-in-hand with the limit logins. It is a real pleasure to open the console, and have a birds eye view of what is going on each day.

Version 3 is hands down a better product than version 2. The new use of encryption is comforting.

We've been using Limit Logins for almost 2 years now. In our school district, we have a little over 13,000 users. It has been working great even with the large amount of users we have. We have locked down the program very securely, so security hasn't ever been an issue for us. I personally use the console on a daily basis to get an overview of what is happening on our network.

I'd recommend this application for any school district, or corporation that needs to manage their login sessions.

Limit Logins includes a bunch of serious flaws, including:

- Limit Logins’ sessions database consists in files located in a hidden share on a server. All users need a read and write access to the share to create a file for the session during the logon script.
Once users know where the share is located, they can very easily kill the whole session database or remove their own session or a add a non existing session for another user (!!!).

- Limit Logins creates a “logins.exe” process when a user opens a session. If the user closes the process with the "taskkill /im logins.exe" command, Limit Logins will remove the session in its database even if the user is still logged on and the user will be able to logon somewhere else.
