This 32-bit terminal emulator has an MDI interface for Internet and intranet use.
It supports Telnet, SSH1 and SSH2 protocols. S-Term can be used for both secure and non-secure connections.
Remote sites can be accessed by entering a hostname and a port, and the program uses sessions to manage groups of options and settings associated with or assigned to a particular connection. These settings and options are saved under a session name, allowing the user to have different preferences for different hosts. Functions can also be customized through the system control script.
The keyboard accelerator allows users to cycle between S-Term windows, and Unicode support is included. The foreground and background colors are customizable, and the program supports a column select feature, VT line drawing, optional ANSI colors and customizable ANSI colors.
