The program extracts text, headlines, associated links and speech bubble summaries with images where possible from Web pages then shows them on the desktop in either a scrolling ticker or a pop-up list.
It also provides keyword filtering of the headlines, and options to check POP3 mailboxes and LAN files/folders for changes.
It has 3000 pre-configured sources available, covering a range of topics including news, politics, TV, weather, traffic, travel, entertainment, sports, health, jokes, trivia, technology, business and the economy, U.S. local and state news, and a number of respected publications and information resources.
