Codec Calculator 1.0
Codec Calculator calculates values for audio/video data like QuickTime movies, MPEGs, and more.

It can calculate how many MBs of space a certain movie uses at a given data rate. This is useful if you're archiving all those home VHS tapes onto CD and need to know how many minutes you can cram onto the disc. Codec Calculator also runs on classic 68K Macs.
Please read the documentation for more detailed information.
Requirements: You'll need at least a 68000 (you can't go lower than this), running System 7.0 or higher. If you're thinking about wiping the 68K code out with some kind of code stripper, don't. You'll end up killing this 68K only application.
