Yes. This app will parse and interpret your SQL and give you a resultset of records based on that. The app first requires you to connect to your various data files and save your configuration. Then you can view your data with either a grid or a forms type of view. You can create relationships between the files but that is strictly for your viewing purposes only.
Then using a treeview you can create an SQL Statement for each node. And you can put SQL inside of parent nodes and you can use other SQL queries as input tables to a new query. The node view of your sql is again for your viewing purposes only. Most of the standard SQL clauses work; table aliases, expressions, joins, where and order by all work. You can even do multiple left and right joins on a table too.
But there are addition SQL clauses that have been added to the interpreter. The "Filter Input On {TableName(s)} Dropping {Expression}" statement will drop records on the input side of processing. This is a handy way of dealing with data that has values that can cause expresssions to fail. "Suppresion Join" is a new type of join that will give you the resulting rows that do not exist in the second table. "Split Where {Expression}" is a new concept. That will split the output into multiple resultsets (splits). You do this by using a "Split Where" clause for each output file.
In addition to performing SQL on SQL files. There is also an import and export wizard for acquiring or depositing data to and from ODBC compliant database servers. The application uses for this type of tool is tremendous.
